How to prepare your holiday rental for 360° photography
Remember that everything is visible
A panorama captures the entire space at once, so there is no clever angle that leaves things out. Walk through each room and look at it from the centre, turning slowly.
A short checklist
- Remove personal documents and private belongings from view
- Make beds and straighten cushions and throws
- Clear worktops, tables and bathroom surfaces
- Open curtains and switch on the lights you want guests to notice
- Check that doors you want connected in the tour can be opened
Agree on the scope first
Before the appointment, we discuss which areas are accessible and which should be part of the tour. A holiday rental usually starts with the living and sleeping areas and access to outdoor spaces. The package you choose sets limits for floor area and viewpoints.
On the day
Photography takes one to two hours depending on the size of the accommodation. Plan for the property to be empty during that time, so that nobody walks through the frame.
